CasaMod, Playa Gigante (web site coming soon!!) MODern ECO-conscious NOT cookie-cutter at all! CasaMod is dedicated to bringing modern architecture and environmentally sustainable designs to residential living spaces along the Tola coast of Nicaragua. The first project is a seven-acre development of modern townhouses and single family homes on the hill immediately upslope of Hotel Brio. Each home will be a custom modern design by either one of our architects or an approved modern design from an outside architect. Home sites have ocean views unequaled in Gigante and are a short walk to Gigante Beach. The two architects currently working on the project are Francisco Brown of Brown Arquitectos in Managua, Nicaraga and Mark Meyer of DesignSTUDIO in Austin, Texas. Property management can be arranged in association with Hotel Brio for those who choose to lease their homes as vacation rentals.

Escuela Bigfoot is located in Playa Gigante. We provide one on one and small class (2-3 students) instruction for Spanish language students of all levels. Our standard offering is an all inclusive packages of daily language classes, lodging, and meals |

Established in 2000, the Zacatán Reserve is a 29-acre parcel containing a secondary tropical dry forest fragment 1.5 km from Playa Gigante village. Trails and rustic camping facilities are planned. |
